The Expendables 2 is an action movie from 2012, and a sequel to The Expendables in 2010. Like its predecessor, it is a tribute to the action genre and new actors were added. Composer Brian Tyler returned as the creator of the music for the film. The images were shot in over 14 weeks with a budget of 100 million dollars. Filming locations have included Bulgaria, Hong Kong and New Orleans. The film was released in Europe on August 16, 2012 and in North America the following day. A sequel The Expendables 3 is in development.
