Se7en (also written as Seven) is a 1995 film by David Fincher with Brad Pitt, Morgan Freeman, Kevin Spacey and Gwyneth Paltrow. In the film two detectives searching for a serial killer who kills according to the seven deadly sins: gluttony, greed, sloth, lust, vanity, envy and revenge.

The film was a great success and it made around $327.3 million ten times more that what it cost. The film also received some prizes. The editor Richard Francis-Bruce was nominated for an Oscar and screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker was nominated for a BAFTA. The film also won three MTV Movie Awards, best film, best villain (Kevin Spacey) and most desired man (Brad Pitt). For David Fincher this film was proof of his talents.
